Browser Settings:

The PAUP download page changes periodically to reflect recent developments. Some browsers, however, will cache pages indefinitely and as a result will display the old download page complete with the old updater links. If you receive a message that a link is no longer available, try changing your browser's settings so that the newest page is displayed. For example:

Internet Explorer:

Version 5.x -- Mac OS X

• Goto "Explorer" > "Preferences ..."
• Under "Cache" deselect "Never" and select either "Once per session" or "Always"

Version 5.x -- Mac Classic

• Goto "Edit" > "Preferences ..."
• Under "Cache" deselect "Never" and select either "Once per session" or "Always"

Version 5.x -- Windows

• Goto "Tools" > "Internet Options"
• Click on the "General" tab and click the "Settings" button under "Temporary Internet Files"
• Change the "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" option to "Automatically."

Netscape Communicator:

• Goto "Edit" > "Preferences"
• Goto "Advanced" > "Cache"
• Make sure the "Document in cache is compared to document on network:" option is set to "Every time"
